Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American actress and singer. Bell is an Michigan native born and was raised by her parents Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). She is of Polish (mother's) as well as German (father's), English, Irish and Scottish ancestry. Kristen found her talent in entertainment from a young age. In 1992, Kristen went to her very first audition. She got the role in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She then appeared in television advertisements as well as newspaper advertisements. Then, she also began training in private acting. Bell played a brief, uncredited performance as a character Polish Wedding (1998) in 1998. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School and was a member of the music club and drama clubs. She was a part of Dorothy in the high-school production in The Wizard of Oz. After graduating, Bell moved to New York City to attend prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she learned about musical theatre. Bell, who graduated in 2001, left her university studies to perform her role as Becky in Tom Sawyer. In the same year, she starred in Pootie Tang however, the scene in which Bell made an appearance was cut. As a result, only her credit sequence exists. Bell was part of the Broadway revival The Crucible starring Liam Neeson and Angela Bettis.
