Antonia Lofaso
Chef Antonia Lofaso's cuisine is an invitation to explore the depths of her personal world. She developed a curiousity about food when she moved from suburbs of Long Island to the diverse cultural landscape that is Los Angeles. Cavatellis and carnitas coexisting on the same menu is her belief. All of her dishes are filled with her unique vision for the future, but also with a nostalgic look at the old. Scopa Italian Roots opened its doors in the year 2013 and quickly became well-received. Lofaso has been praised by her fans for her rendition of traditional Italian cuisine. Lofaso has been described by a lot of people as a local favourite that serves up food that's authentic, delicious and welcoming. Lofaso learned from culinary giants who used sophisticated techniques. But, she was not afraid to take huge risk to follow her own instincts. After a brief period her career, she was at the top in Wolfgang Puck's Spago. In the following years, she worked alongside many celebrities, while transforming various Los Angeles restaurants. Lofaso joined forces along with Sal Aurora to create Black Market Liquor Bar, an upscale bar located in Studio City. With Black Market and the business collaborations she set up, she found her new home. The collaboration could provide the creative freedom Lofaso wanted. Black Market doesn't have one specific orientation. This is the intention. The course will begin with dill-flavored potato chips Shishito peppers, then follow up with Korean Wings. Antonia is the linchpin of this dizzying array. Lofaso assessed her success in the field in part by her ability to be able to comprehend and appear authentic to her audiences. Famous appearances in Top Chef Chicago & Top Chef: All Stars showcased her personality outside the cooking area. Her talents are evident in her recurring roles in CNBC's Restaurant Startup judge as well as on Food Network's Cutthroat Kitchen Man vs. Child as well as ABC's Real O'neals. Lofaso teamed-up in partnership with Penguin Publishing to produce The Busy Mom's Cookbook 100 recipes of quick, Delicious, Home Cooked Meals. The book, she also describes her life as a mom and pupil of The French Culinary Institute. Lofaso says that the inspiration to her achievement comes from the kitchen. That's how she keeps a pulse of the latest happenings. She is transforming the design by creating chef's wear for style and functionality with her own brand Chefletics. Lofaso cares about staying true to you and your vision. To achieve this, she's launched Antonia Lofaso Catering. The new business will give customized experience for customers.
