LeBron Raymone James Sr. is an American basketball professional who plays with the Los Angeles Lakers in the National Basketball Association. He is known as King James he is widely considered to be among the top players of all time and has often been compared with Michael Jordan in debates over who is the greatest basketball player. James had two Olympic gold medals and won four NBA titles. James is an NBA All-Star and has the highest number of playoff points. He also has the second-highest point total and the 7th highest assists total in his career. He has been selected as an NBA All-Star 18 times to the All-NBA Team a record 18 times. He has also been selected as a member of be named to the NBA All-Defensive First Team five times. There were ten NBA Finals, the most of any player ever. He was a part of eight between 2011 and 2018. James has been selected to an appearance on the NBA 75th Anniversary Team in 2021. In 2022, he became an elite NBA player to achieve 10,000 points in his career. James was a student at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in his hometown of Akron Ohio and was heavily touted by the national media as a future NBA superstar. He was a prep-to-pro player, and was picked by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first second overall selection of 2003's NBA draft. The 2004 NBA Rookie of the Year, He quickly established himself as one of the best league athletes, winning an NBA MVP award in both 2009 and 2010.
