Andrea Joy Cook (also known as A.J. Cook is a well-known Canadian actress. Her best-known role is as Jennifer Jareau, a supervisory special agent on CBS's police thriller Criminal Minds. The series has been on the air from 2005 and as of 2017 it's on the thirteenth season. Cook was born and raised in Oshawa in Ontario, Canada. She's always been interested in performing. The role of a guest in the TV series Goosebumps began her career in acting. Her debut in film came in 1999 with the drama film The Virgin Suicides. However, the film was not a huge success. The following year, she was a guest in a drama show known as Higher Ground. A few years later she started appearing in the drama about police officers Criminal Minds which earned her a lot of fame and popularity as well as success.
